Add, use, and remove the Zoom integration

How to connect your own Zoom account to Calendary, what happens on each booking, and how to disconnect it.

Add Zoom to your account

Zoom is a Pro feature. Sign in at thecalendary.com, open Settings, and find the Zoom card under your connected accounts.

Click Connect. You are sent to Zoom's own sign-in and authorization screen. Approve the request, and Zoom sends you back to Calendary Settings, which now shows "Connected as" your Zoom account email.

Calendary only requests access to create and manage meetings on your own Zoom account. We never see or store your Zoom password.

Our Zoom app is currently going through Zoom's marketplace review, so connecting may not work for every account yet. If Zoom shows an error partway through, use Google Meet or a custom location for now and try again later.

Use Zoom for your bookings

Open an event type and set its Location to Zoom.

Every new booking on that event type automatically creates a real meeting on your Zoom account. The join link is attached to the calendar invite (with the .ics file) and to the confirmation emails sent to you and the invitee, with no manual step.

If you have not connected Zoom yet, event types can still be created with Zoom as the location, but meetings will not be created until you connect your account in Settings.

Remove Zoom from your account

Go to Settings, find the Zoom card (it shows "Connected as" your account email), and click Disconnect. This immediately revokes Calendary's access to create meetings on your Zoom account.

Bookings that already have a Zoom link keep working normally. Switch any event types that use Zoom as their location to Google Meet or a custom link before your next booking, since Calendary cannot create new Zoom meetings once it is disconnected.

You can reconnect at any time from the same Zoom card in Settings.
