Pricing questions

Is the Free plan really free forever?

Yes. It is not a trial and it never expires. You get one event type with unlimited bookings, calendar sync, and payment collection with a 3% Calendary fee plus Stripe processing.

What fees do I pay on a paid booking?

Two possible fees: the Calendary fee (3% on Free, 0% on Pro and Insights) and Stripe's processing fee, which applies on every plan (2.9% + 30 cents per US card charge is Stripe's standard published rate). Events without a price are always free to book.

When does Pro pay for itself?

Pro annual works out to about $5.83 a month. Once you take more than about $194 a month in paid bookings, the 3% Free fee costs more than that. On Pro monthly ($7.49), the break-even is about $250 a month.

Can I cancel or switch plans anytime?

Yes. Upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations take effect through Stripe's billing portal in Settings. Cancelling stops future charges and your account moves back to Free at the end of the paid period; your booking link keeps working.

Do you offer refunds on subscriptions?

If something went wrong with a charge, email cx@thecalendary.com and a human will look at it. There is no automated refund policy beyond that, and you can cancel future renewals any time.
